Today I am reflecting back on this weekend and how amazing and spontaneous life truly can be. I was waiting in my car for my first day of classes at Virginia Commonwealth University when I received a phone call asking if I would be interested in opening for Chris Young. How exciting! I quickly turned my car around headed back home, created a set list of music on the way to the venue, and warmed up in the dressing room.
